Joseph Guerriero, Tax Credits, LLC

Joseph Guerriero is an expert in the world of tradable tax incentives. For the past 5 years, Mr. Guerriero has worked as VP of Marketing for Tax Transfer Corporation of NJ and co-founder of Tax Credits, LLC, a firm of placement specialists who have handled nearly 1,1000 transactions in excess of $260 million in various state tax credits. Mr. Guerriero has developed excellent working relationships with both top filmmaking executives as well as fortune 100 tax professionals. He has played a significant role in the placement of over $200 million in state tax credits. He is also in charge of updating the film production industry on the ever-changing world of film incentives.

Steve Bizenov, Media Services

Steve Bizenov has more than 20 years experience in the software industry with a strong background in entertainment production and operations management, payroll and accounting. He is vice president of sales and software development at Media Services. He worked in production and operations management at EUE Screen Gems and served in executive positions at various entertainment accounting, payroll, and software companies including FilmPro & Bon Bon Entertainment.

 

Connie McFeeley, New York State Governor's Office For Motion Picture And Television Development

Connie McFeeley is Senior Project Manager for tax incentive programs for film/TV/post production and commercials. Prior to joining the NYS Film Office in 2006, Connie was head of Broadcast Administration/ Business Affairs at Fallon, an international advertising agency. Her agency and client experience in advertising includes cost control, business management, broadcast production, as well as estimating for commercial production companies. Additionally, she’s worked as a production accountant on independent films.

John C. Genz CPA, MST, EisnerAmper LLP

John Genz is a Partner in the Tax Department of EisnerAmper LLP, a regional accounting firm of CPA’s, Financial Consultants and Revenue specialists. John works closely with the firm’s clients in the entertainment industry, providing services to film production companies participating in film production incentive programs in various states. A recognized expert with more than 20 years of experience at both an international accounting firm and a private banking and investment firm, John has authored articles on various tax related topics and is a recurring featured speaker on income tax accounting as well as federal and state tax issues.

Mitch Held, commercial production accountant

Mitchell Held is a veteran production accountant who has been practicing in the commercial and feature film industry for more than 28 years. He currently serves as a part-time controller for three production companies in New York. He has completed six New York tax credit filings on behalf of his clients, securing more than $2 million in tax credit letters from New York state.
